Good Customer Service: How to Make Your Customers Feel Special

Two Important Questions About Customer Service:

1. How can you make a difference in your customers’ lives?
2. How can you build the loyalty that makes them come back?

Johnny, a supermarket bagger, heard trainer Barbara Blanchard ask these questions. He wondered what he could do to create memories and make each customer feel special.

And he came up with a terrific solution. Watch this movie, and find out how a guy with Down Syndrome inspired the whole store.

I haven’t blogged in over a month. When my friend Toni emailed this movie, I had to share it with you. So you see, Johnny the bagger inspired me, too.

Johnny has no idea how many people he has touched. I’ll bet it’s many thousands, if not millions. And all because he took Barbara’s questions seriously. Cool, eh?

Ron Martin sent this around awhile ago and I was impressed by it. I’m just as impressed the second time around! Thank you!

Thank you Tracey! I had my 13 yo daughter watch it too! Johnny rocks

Love this story, Tracey! A great blog idea would be for people to share their stories of how they helped make their customers, or people in their lives, feel special. I heard or read this today: when you are with someone, make it seem like you waited all day to be with them, that they are the only one in the world at that moment.
Thanks Tracey! I’m inspired!

That was a fantastic story! Thank you for sharing it!

Great idea! I’ve met 2 people who do that consistently: Jack Canfield and Sam Horn, author and emcee of the Maui Writers Conference. Sam told me Jack worked on that ability. I’ll bet Sam did, too. Sounds like a terrific self-improvement project for me, too.

Yes, Johnny rocks!
